AACR Cancer Progress Report

The annual AACR Cancer Progress Report is a comprehensive tool that illustrates the nation's return on investments in cancer research.

The report is an educational document for both Congress and the public. It is a call to action, designed to urge Congress and the American public to stand firm in their commitment to the eradication of cancer.

The AACR Cancer Progress Report 2016 details how federal investments in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) transform lives by fueling advances against cancer. The report also calls on the administration and Congress to prioritize the growth of the NIH and NCI budgets at a predictable and robust pace.
