Community Education

The American Association for Cancer Research is committed to supporting the public’s education on cancer and cancer research, underscoring how cancer research saves lives.  With access to the world’s greatest minds in cancer research, the AACR develops educational initiatives and programs for the community that highlight the latest advances in cancer research, treatment, detection,  and prevention.  Given the fact that one out of every two men, and one out of every three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, the AACR’s goal is to support the quest for knowledge by anyone touched by cancer, and those interested in learning about cancer science.
