Volunteer

There are a number of ways you can help us accelerate progress against cancer.

How you can help:

·         Engage your coworkers
Thanks to employer matching, workplace giving can be an easy way to maximize your
gift. Talk to your human resources department about participating.

·          Promote clinical trials and community programs
We can use your help to reach patients who can benefit from information about the
opportunities for clinical trials and other services.

·          Raise money
            Contact us to learn more about organizing events like walks, runs, or dinners;
participating in our development work; and recruiting other volunteers.

·         Reach out
The AACR participates in the Combined Federal Campaign, State Employees'
Charitable Campaigns, and the United Way. From September through December,
these programs provide opportunities across the country for us to get the word out to
donors. We need your help staffing exhibit tables and speaking at these events.

·         Share your story
Personal stories can make an enormous impact. We call on volunteers throughout the
year to share their experiences with cancer and support for the AACR's mission with
other supporters, survivors, caregivers, and policymakers.

·        Speak up
From funding research grants to minimizing the barriers to clinical trials, the decisions
made in Washington, D.C., directly influence the rate of progress in the war against
cancer. Visit our Rally for Medical Research site to learn more about how you can get
          involved.
